If There Is No Change Then There Is No Change

Have you ever visited an old neighborhood where you use to live years ago and saw that things were pretty much the same even after so much time had passed? Well, the neighborhood is still the same because the actions and habits of the people in the neighborhood stayed the same. Their ideas stayed the same and their conversations stayed the same.

This can also apply in our personal lives. When our actions, habits, conversations, and ideas stay the same we get snagged in a meaningless cycle and ultimately our lives stay the same.

You may say, "Well, nothing stays the same. Life is constantly changing," and this statement is quit true, but only on one end of the spectrum. Though nothing stays the same and life is constantly changing, that doesn't mean we have an influence on the changes which are taking place.

When our actions, ideas, and conversations start to blend in with the rhythmic vibrations of the rising and setting of the sun; and life becomes nothing more than a blur; then we absolutely have NO influence over the changes that are happening in our life. Our jobs become nothing more than daunting work that we HAVE to do in order to just make ends meet; our relationships with people are only relevant because we need someone to fill the empty spaces in our life; our thoughts are no longer our own but the property of S.V.A.B (better known as Society's Views and Beliefs), and we lose track of the days, weeks , months, and years.  "Wow, where did time go?" This is the famous phrase that is chanted time and time again when life changes before us but not within us.

Don't watch as life pass you by, but instead live enthusiastically and take your life for a ride.
